MOFO is an AI-powered companion avatar designed as a playful animated animal capable of forming a genuine emotional connection with its user. Combining Pixar-style character animation with a custom AI conversation engine and realistic human-like voice generation, the project creates a believable digital personality that communicates through nuanced facial behavior, voice, and dialogue.
Our studio developed the character animation system, the AI-driven conversational framework, and the voice generation approach, bringing together visual performance, speech, and language into a single expressive character. The project was presented at CES by will.i.am, introducing a new kind of AI companion built around emotionally believable interaction.
